What is Howl-In?

Howl-In is an annual DADS Club event where St. Pauls families camp out on the school lawn around Halloween time. This is a fun event for the whole family that includes games, activities, dinner, snacks, costume contest, trick or treating, and movie in the gym. Doors open at noon on Saturday with games and activities starting around 2pm. More details of the daily events will be posted via email and on this page as we get closer to the event.

Howl-In Schedule

12:00pm – 4:00pm: Check In – Camp Site Setup and tailgate setup

2:30pm – 4:30pm: Art Tables Open

2:30pm – 6:30pm:  Games, magicians, face painting, putt putt golf captain character

3:00pm – 5:00pm: Laser tag 12 play at a time 15-minute rounds in gym

5:00pm- 7:00pm: Nerf gun gym, inflatable basketball, axe throwing and inflatable football on the field

5:00pm – 7:15pm: Dinner

7:15pm – 8:00pm: Trick or Treating at the tents 

8:00pm – 10:00pm: Escape room mobile (20-minute slots)

8:15pm – 9:45pm:  Movie in the Gym (cartoon)

8:15pm – 9:45pm:   Movie in Father Kelly Room (non-cartoon – older kids)

9:45pm – 10:45pm:  Basketball open Play in the Gym

10:15pm: Lights out 4th grade and below

11:00pm: Lights out 5th grade and above

Howl-In Dos & Don’ts

  • Do have fun, both with your children as well as other parents.
  • Do plan to bring 200 pieces of candy for the trick or treating from tent to tent.
  • Do step in to help: with games, activities, security, or cleanup.
  • Do keep an eye on all children, not just your own. It takes a village!
  • Do plan to enjoy the Blue Angels performance during the Jax Beach Air Show.
  • Don’t think you can drop your kids off. This is not Daddy daycare!
  • Don’t bring fire pits, fireworks, or firearms.
  • Don’t invite your entire neighborhood or extended family. This event is for your immediate family to enjoy together.
  • Don’t leave your stuff on the lawn until late Sunday morning. Gates will be locked by 10:30am. Anything still on the lawn will be put in the dumpster.

New Ticketing Options for 2025…

This year we will be offering four (4) types of ticket levels. This allows us to offer additional camp sites due to the growing popularity of this event. Remember: if you do not plan to bring a tent, please choose the General Admission ticket. If you plan to just tailgate with a popup tent and not spend the night, please choose the 10’x10′ Popup ticket. This helps make more camping plots available for those that plan to bring a tent and spend the night.

The four (4) ticket levels for 2025 include:

  • (SOLD OUT)  $70 – General Admission (no plot  included)
  • (SOLD OUT) $75 – 10′ x 10′ Popup (for popup tents and small camping tents)
  • $80 – 12′ x 12′ L Campsites (for normal size camping tents)
  • (SOLD OUT) $85 – 14′ x 12′ XL Campsites (for larger camping tents)


All tickets include:
Access to Howl-In Activities & Events, Dinner, S’mores, Costume Contest, Trick-r-Treating, Movie, and Breakfast the following morning.
